Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

4 cups milk (whole, or alternative)
½ cup unsweetened cocoa 
½ teaspoons salt
¼ cup of sugar, more to taste 

Directions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add milk and whisk constantly until the milk starts to steam.

  2. Add sugar, cocoa, salt and whisk until smooth. Remove from heat, taste and adjust sugar as desired.

  • Unsweetened cocoa is packed with antioxidants that may reduce blood sugar, cholesterol levels, and inflammation. 

  • Unsweetened cocoa and dark chocolate may reduce blood pressure. 

  • Cocoa is a good source of copper, manganese and magnesium.
